map light bulb change

Does anybody have any tips on how to change the map light bulbs in the overhead console on my 91' Sub? I'm pretty sure I have to drop the whole console but I just wanted to check and make sure I wasnt overlooking an easier way to do it. /forums/images/graemlins/burb.gif ThisSideUp4x4

Yes, you need to remove the console to replace the bulbs. There are four screws that hold it in place. If you open the compartments you will see two screws in each compartment. The map light bulbs are easy to get to after removal of the console.

Thanks, I was pretty sure that was the only way but I just wanted to make sure. I hate finding out later that there was an easier way to do something.
