Hi everybody, I mostly just read the news here but I finally have a question of my own:
I'm planning on building some shocktowers that will come clear up into my engine compartment much like those in the 3-link technical article but tubular design so rather than more straight up and down with a plate tower, my tubular hoops will need a little more room. unfortunately my master cylinder takes up some of this space and I was wondering what would be the best way to overcome the problem?
Here are my thoughts:
-find a master cyl thats more compact? what would work?
-make a wedge against the firewall to point the whole booster and master towards the engine? this may not give enough clearance, but with a smaller master would maybe work.
-switch over to hydroboost and do it that way. seems like a lot of work?
This is all being done as part of a solid axle conversion on a '93 fullsize blazer. any help is appreciated!
thanks-nick
