hi guys!
i have a Reybestos master cylinder rebuild kit (precisly: Raybestos MK1737), but i have a doubt about the 3 seals inside the package.
2 of them are similar, the other one is different but before keep out master cylinder, i'd like to know where i must to install them.
i don't know if i must use them to replace old seals on the secondary piston or i must install them between reservoir assembly and master cylinder.
surely i could remove master cylinder and check out the correct position, but maybe it's better to know before ???
someone can help me please?
thanks
Fabio

Did you start yet?

If not, return the rebuild kit and just get a new one. They are only like $25 and no hassle.

Monza might not have a Napa right down the street, and probably doesn't have $25 master cylinders for a Chevy. Maybe a Fiat, but probably not a K5. :)

Agree in principle though...master cylinder, if the cost isn't outrageous, should be replaced, not rebuilt. To rebuild a master right, the bore MUST be honed, and most don't have the tools for that handy.

I was gonna say this but you beat me to it.
When I was living in the middle east I used to rebuild my own MC, calipers, and pretty much anything that I could get seals for.
I used the finest emery closth I could find to hone the cylinders, and since I paid $5 for the seals it was worth it since a MC was $150.
Now I live here and I just get rebuilts.
Same thing with Starters, alternators,... used to rebuild now I just buy them.
I too doubt you can find cheap american parts in Italy, at least until Fiat buys out Chrysler, then maybe

yeah and probably in italy to buy 1 Fiat master cylinders, i have to spend 300€!!!. italian dealers are crazy! and italian cars are ALL S**T and italian people is so stupid about cars

time ago Lancia and Alfa Romeo were very good cars, until Fiat bought them.
now we must pray for Chrysler and we must breathe for Pontiac:(

Yeah I used to have alfa romeos and I never bought the alfa parts, I just bought fiat parts because they were the same but cheaper.
Well Pontiac will have lots of value soon since the company is going away.
I guess I should hold on to my 67 firebird formula.
