Mastercraft vs twisted stitch seats

I have a set of the Twisted Stitch, still haven't mounted them in the Jimmy. They seem super comfy!!! May end up selling them though since I don't have the money I need for a full cage and harnesses. I've had them for about 2 years now (shows ya how long the truck has been sitting:doah:). Anyways, not trying to hock my stuff to ya, just adding my 2 cents for saying they are comfy! I have taken a few trips around the neighborhood with the driver's seat in a temporary mounting position in my botched 'cage (that needs torn out) and the seat was very comfortable. Anyone that has sat in them has always commented that they were quite comfortable! Dunno what you have planned for a back seat but, they make a backseat that matches and is comfy too! (I bought the whole set)

EDIT: I cannot comment on Mastercraft as I have never dealt with them BUT, I can say Twisted Stitch has excellent customer service and is willing to do a good bit of customizing without a ridiculous pricetag! (my front seats are wider and taller than standard (I am 6'3" 275lb) and have two sets of shoulder harness slots (one set for me, one set for my fiancee), my rear bench is wider than standard and has removable headrests (for better rearward visibility when not hauling rear seat passengers))

I've had MasterCraft seats for 7 years now; first one a Sportman (similar to the Rubicon) for about a year, but then I switched to a deeper bucket (Pro with a lowered cushion). Well made, good quality. My driver's seat (the Pro) shows some signs of wear now (one spot of the piping is worn) and needs the webbing tightened. I'll probably use the Sportsman seat again (which had been getting a free ride in the passenger position all this time) while I work on the other one.
I drive the truck to trails and back, and the seat is comfy on the highway. That includes many extended trips, like Phoenix to Moab (480 miles), or back in the day when I lived in NE - Omaha to Moab (~900 miles).

If you decide to sell them let me know. I am looking for a set also with the back seat. So shoot me a pm with some pics and a price if you want.

And Thanks for the info guys.:waytogo:

Don't think you will be unhappy with either. Both are quality seats. Mastercraft has been around longer for sure, has a better following and know name. I have mastercraft myself.

What color???? i mean depending of the color would determine the liking of the seat, IMO, still i like Mastercraft although i have Hunsaker's

The twisted's look identical to the PRP's I had in my Jeep, loved them and they were cheap. In fact the neighbor bought some knock off brand that was identical as well only differance i see in all three is the stiched on logo in the front...makes me wonder where they're made and if they could be soursed cheaper going direct to the factory:thinking:

And replacement covers are cheap too, if for some reason they wear out or burst in to flames while welding a cage:whistle::haha:

not sure if the same is true about mastercraft

Put me 2nd in line, I'd be interested also if it isn't what Crawdady is looking for.

That's funny Alan....:dunno:how that happened..

It's been a while back. Maybe worthwhile to check them out these days.

Not for me, though, after what they sent for the FJ40...
