Anyone use one of these? Hopefully ryoken can chime in or something... I found a pretty good deal on a new dual gun... mostly gonna use it for primer, since I have a sharpie...

WEll, i bought it anyways. Its a huge box. over 3 feet long, comes with two extra cups per gun, filters, etc. Cant complain, paid 40 dollars, never used.

HVLP guns work good but you need a fairly big compressor. Most HVLP guns need around 6- 7CFM @50 psi to work good. If I was just shooting primer and basic paint. I just use an inexpensive suction feed gun.

I've heard the name, but never used one... Keep it as clean as possible as it may not be fully rebuildable..

HVLP is fine... It's all about viscosity...

I usually shoot my primers thru my 2 qrt pressure pot with an oldschool JGA.. Nothing squirts primer like a pressure fed system...

Well, I take it slightly back, I opened the box, and the large gun had been used before-smells like urathane/wood stain, but not auto paint. The cap is stuck,(figures)so luckily, it has 3 spare ones. Just annoying.

Large one is 1.4mm tip, the small one is .8

Said something about an external swirl cap.. what is that?

I have a suction type, but it always sprayed primers kinda dry, and required me to sand the primer to make it smooth.

Forgot to also say, Im running it on a speedaire 5hp, with a 25 gallon tank, and an additional 7 gallon reserve tank. I know its probably marginal, but I think it might be ok.
