Hey Allen.....

sooooooooo..... I've been at my new marina a couple years now, without any tool truck.... it's getting to the point where i wanna get one in... starting to need a few new and replacement tools....

I SEE A Matco guy down the street from work, next time i see him i'm gonna stop by and have him start stopping in the marina...

have had ton's of Snappie and Mac guys over the years, figure i'll give Matco a shot... I know Allen rocks as a Matco guy, but how have the Matco trucks been for everyone else?

hopefully he's like my last Mac guy... carries quality stuff, but will also have a variety of "other brands"... my Mac guy was great with that..... had all kinds of other brand stuff, droplights, hammers, odd stuff, etc, etc

Carrying "outside" stuff can be a great service to the costumer, but has to be managed as far as money is concerned. So Not a ton of guys do it. And I know most of the guys I know have reduced the amount of "outside" stuff they buy as the economy has become tighter. Having multiple tool bills gets old real quick(as it does for techs too, ha).

If you have trouble getting ahold of that guy, let me know, I can work my way to him through District Managers and put a bug in his ear.

i usually see him every couple weeks or so when i'm going home for lunch... and thanks, that explains the "outside" stuff very well... it really made the mac guy a ton more sales in our yard.. very popular truck.. more then the Snappie guy, who wouldn't carry anything "outside"..

the matco guy around here is a great guy to deal with. he carries a lot of the outside stuff.

just stop at the shop were you see him and ask one of the guys for his phone # sure thay got it if not check one of there sales slips for it. give him a call and go from there.

I loved the matco guy i use to have in the last town i was working. lots of goodies... no more matco guy now and it sucks. all my tools are pretty much matco
