Guna be geting sum h1's with runflats. Need to know what the max speed i can go with rubber runflats. Is it worth it to get the magnesium runflats?

you can go 30 miles at 30 mph on either ones. the mags will eventually catch on fire if you drive too long or too fast and the rubber ones start coming apart depending on the surface you are driving on

the mag runflats i got with my 1st set of H1s, still had the military grease packs taped to them.

and thats only when the tire is flat right? thers not much of a limit when it has a good tire with the proper psi correct?

we ran our HMMWVs wide open for hours on end during convoy escort and never had a tire failure related to heat or the runflat. According to the gps we were running about 74 mph

Ive taken the runflats over 80mph in m1114 up-armored HMMWVs (10,000 + GVW). repeatedly, and sometimes down the wrong side of the baghdad interstate (hello rte sword). Never any problems with the runflat inserts. Proper PSI = unlimited runflat life.

Never mind the fact you can buy used Hummer wheels for $40, this forum doesn't allow selling stuff - that goes in the classifieds section.

What these guys said. If they are inflated properly, they drive and operate just like a normal tire, only one that has significantly more weight to it. The rubber run flats are heavier than the mags fyi
