O.K I've finally got my Blazer 8 lug all the way around ,but for right now I'm going to have run these 16x6.5 wheels that were givin to me.My question how high can I go with the tire size?

it is the width you will have a problem with.I've had 31x10.50 0n wheels that size.thats prolly the max.

yeah I was thinkin like 255/85/16 would be the max
I ran 35x12.5's on that exact size rim for 7 years (friend has em now) The must have better than 50,000 miles on them.
I never had any problems with them that way, and they have worn very evenly (except for one front that got cupped when a ball joint went bad)
Mudhog runs 39.5 x 13's on some 16" x 6.5" rims...
The larger sidewalls are a lot more forgiving.
