I may have to sell the Jimmy. No room for it anymore, and I need to finish the GTO. What to you guys think it worth. It has a GM crate 350 with 35,000 miles, GM cert. 700r4 with 17,000 miles, 208, 10 bolt front locked and 4.56s, 12 bolt rear mini spooled, hardened axles and 4.56s. Both with less than 500 miles on rebuild. Full family cage, new front clip and radiator support.5 35" goodyear MTRs on rockcrawlers with discount tire warrany. Its an off road warrior. It will climb anything. No doors anymore, no back top, and the roof and 1/4 panels are dented. Thanks for the help guys.

do you have any pics where it has the new clip, I might be interested but it would prolly be out of my price range, I need a good trail rig now.

I have some pics, but need to get them developed. I also go the roof up to where it is supose to be. It has a plexyglass windshield. This thing has never let me down on the trail. I also have a spare set of front and rear axles for that just incase, but havent needed them yet. Its amaing how slow you can go over things with it locked fron and rear. The new clip is satin black, and the rear is casst iron grey now. I primered it to paint it but have no room anymore.

I wouldn't sell it. You have way too much into it and I think you would definetly miss it later. Just take your time with the GTO... You still have the Firebird and Byurb to play with

I know I would miss it. I just really need the room, unless I find a place to store it.

Trust me it will go just about anywhere. I really hate to part with it, but between the cars, the burb and the new boat, just no more room.

Isn't this the rig that rolled 6 times? It's gonna be hard to sell that bad boy. You'll be selling to a pretty limited audience. Most people shopping for vehicles are looking for something considerably less "used".

Because it is going to be pretty much a dedicated trail rig for someone, I am guessing probablysomewhere around the $2-4K range at best. I know that isn't very promising, but most trail only rigs are either waiting for a build up, or are already built to 1-ton specs. I know I am looking for a trail rig, but I want one that I can build up, not already built. I think that is going to hurt your sale.

If I were you, I would find somewhere to keep it. Even if you have to pay to store it somewhere. That will still be cheaper than losing all the money you already have invested as well as losing a friend.

Of course, with all those toys, you may not even have much time to even wheel it! I know that I have a 1995 20' V8 powered ski boat that I haven't even touched it 2 years, except to start it every once in a while! Hasn't even been off the lift in a year!

Best of luck.

Yea its the one that rolled, but before the rollover the truck was in great shape. The frame isnt cracked at the gearbox, and I will be getting pics of it up soon here so you can see how well it was redone. I am looking for 5,000 obo. I know its going to be hard to sell, and I dont want to get rid of it, but I would rather it see a good home than to someone who doesnt know what they are doing and destroy it.

I think you'd get more for the individual parts than selling it as a whole truck.

Seriously, you can find pretty nice K5's, that haven't been rolled over,

for 5 grand. Rolled trucks just aren't worth much to 99% of the folks out there. It's a bummer, but that's the reality of the situation.

Just as an example, a buddy of mine bought an '88 Blazer that fell off the edge of a trail and leaned hard against a tree. The cab and tub were bent and the doors were wasted, but the front clip is good, as is the tailgate and topper. It even came with a brand spankin' new GM windshield, still in the factory cardboard. Cost him a whopping $800 for the whole truck. We've already yanked the 350 and 700R4. They'll be finding a new home in his Scrambler.

The rest of it will be finding its way to my garage soon so I can strip any good stuff before sending the carcass to the JY.

I know they are harder to sell, but they do sell. I saw a 79 bronco beat up way more than mine, had a cage that wasnt even welded all the way around the bars, no doors no top, welded front and rear get 4500 for his so I figured someone will want it.
