This is an 85 chevy blazer Silverado (or at least the frame is)
I went full circle
1995 full body
2000 full body with full cage / beard seats / half doors and top off
2002 chop top / doors off / tapered front / 4 link coilovers front and rear
2003
narrow rear / remove all body panels

and now
2007... full body is back in the plan.

This rig has been driven to Baja California and Montana without doors, rear floor, top and most of the body.

Plans:
  • Rack is for extended baja / backcountry excursions (the added weight helps the suspension really ride well)
  • 3rd seat for my 4 year old
  • rocksliders
  • rear mount for fullsize spare (think prerunner)

...nothing too high dollar... all my money is in the suspension.:eek1:

skidplated np208 rebuilt:D , built 700r4, 350 goodwrench motor with edelbrock intake and 454 tbi adapter plate, tbi with affordable fuel injection harness, art carr shifter, autometer guages, dana 60 with arb, 14 bolt with detroit, beard ultra racing seats, simpson harnesses
 
thanks for the encouragement. The rear portion is now done. Now the front fiberglass, 5.13s, rear diskbrakes, a winch...
oh and more pics of the complete side with paint are not too far off.

aw, its not too much money... I'm only a teacher afterall.:D
It's been over 2 years since I wheeled this puppy. Soon it will be time.
 
I am on a college student budget, I only have maybe 200 a month for spending money, the rest is for bills (rent, phone, car, etc)
 
looking good, real good, i remember you talking about this a long time ago, i was wondering what became of it

Color is added now...
spray paint for the cage

now it's ready for the 5.13s that were just delivered! Oh and some front glass to match:D
