Maybe a dumb question

So, i've alway dealt with 2wd and now i'm looking at 4wd transmission change. My truck came with a 350th and a full time x-fer, it now has a sm465, and a (i think) 205 x-fer, i want to go back to a 350th, but with all the talk of adapters, i'm a bit nervous...can somebody give me a hint here, will i need an adapter...and is there a dif between the adapter i will (or may) need for the 350 to 205, will it work to a 700r4 or will it be a different adapter......

You'll need the th350 to 205 adaptor and a 27 spline input for the NP205. To run a 700R4 with a 205 requires some dinking around from what I've read.
