Maybe a stupid question.

A guy I know is giving away a new clutch, pressure plate and flywheel from a 88 5speed 2.8 S10. Is any of it anygood for a 465?

No. Wrong spline for sure. I think its only a ~10" clutch. Flywheel is only good for the 60* V6 - so 2.8L, 3.1L, and 3.4L.
