Hey guys I need a measurement for a stock rear driveshaft on a K5 with 700/208 combo . Need from center of the ujoint on the axle to center of the ujoint on the slip yoke. Thanks.

You need to remember that if the vehicle is lifted that will change the length required.

Yeah but is it really that short for a stock shaft? Just talking about the actual shaft not the slip yoke part.

my 78, with 350/400/205 dana 70hd moved back 3.5 inches was 43"
Np205 was converted to fixed yoke.

rear is 56's with a zero rate and shackle flip.

Thanks, but again I am looking for the length of a stock driveshaft with a 700/208 combo. Just the ujoint to ujoint measurement.

ya, i measured again just so i dont feel stupid, still 29.5", it does seem real short though. but its a k5...

Okay cool I didn't mean to sound like I was putting your measuring skills in question. That just seems really short. Thanks guys!
