ive seen it done on tons of muscle cars but its different with a 208...anyone know if its possible to get a sending unit at all?

Going from mechanical to electric is easy. You just need a VSS sender to put in place of your speedo cable. Try www.jagsthatrun.com

That or it's a great excuse to swap to a 241 that already has VSS.
