I think there are a few other installers here. Are any of you MECP certified? If so, what level? Ive been installing for about 5 years now and have yet to take the test. Had the bossman order me the study guide today and I plan on taking the test in about a month. Hopefully I can get a nice raise out of it as well. I would like to get the Advanced cert. as well and maybe one day even Master.

sorry to hijack.... Do you do any custom work on the side? I dont have any more wood working tools since I moved out here. Need to do a simple box for a couple Type R 15's.....

if it is just a sealed box I could do it, possibly ported. im way down in durango though. let me know if you want to try and work something out.

nice. i need to get to reading this damn novel of a study guide. the boring parts are what i already know and know well. id like to get basic and move to advanced quick.

Ive been installing for eight years now and am master certified. All it is is a piece of paper though. What really counts is experience. I have worked at a couple different shops and through all the custom cars weve done the certification just gets me paid! The practical knowledge is priceless!
