Mecum Auto Auction Houston

First time I have I been to Mecum auction. Lots of nice cars. I was surprised that half or more did not sale, because reserve was not met. Blazer sales was mix bag, a fully restored stock looking 1972 blazer ,sold for $42,000.00. A custom orange Blazer received a high bid 25k and did not meet reserve. In general chevy trucks and Blazer are a hot commodity.

What I'd give to own one of those sweet trucks!...I like the Apache Burb and the K-5's the most...

Now I have to mop up the drool on my keyboard...

I wish I spent more time looking at the Apache it something I would like to own. Tons of Camaros to be had. 7 mil for a f40 is just stupid. Someone paid $750,000 for corvette.

I saw this the other day. The green is metallic. I am looking at doing my blazer in its original green color with the metallic added. I really want my blazer to run like new but have a nice patina on it. The ship has sailed since all the sheet metal is new. Now I am shooting for a original color with a modern twist.
