Megashifter Pics?

I don't have any pics. right now but I will take some. It probably won't be untill sat. or sun. though.

what do you have it in a k5 or pickup??
if it is in a pickup do you have any issues with it hitting the seat or dash when shifting?
i'm also interested in seeing pic's.

Here is a picture of the Z-gate shifter in mine. I still have to trim the plastic. The Z-gate sucks, you get what you pay for.

I have it in a pickup. That was one of my concerns because my fiance is only 5'2" so she has to move the seat up all the way, but I still have plenty of clearance.

I definately think it is worth the money. It is very solid. Really I don't have a bad thing to say about it.

I've been thinking about the same thing. My brother had a Megashifter in his Camaro years ago and I loved it. I'll be interested in seeing the pics as well.

B&M makes a taller version of the megashifter for trucks Right ???? /forums/images/graemlins/truck.gif

they do. ITs the same thing just a taller base. the stick might be taller but I'm not sure. I've considered getting one.

Summit should carry those right???? /forums/images/graemlins/truck.gif

I've been thiking bout' getting one for my K10 I have a TCI built 700r4 I love it But shifting with the stock grandma shifter sucks /forums/images/graemlins/truck.gif

Isent shifting it you self really bad for the tranny? I heard it will trow a pump fast if you do. BTW If you are gonna shift em though the B&M has a reverse lock out so you dont gotta worry about that anymore and you can still hit neutral.

my trans has a full manual valve body so I have to shift it I think If its built for it It shouldn't hurt any thing My problem is I forget To put it back in first at stop lights so when I go to take of it really bogs down /forums/images/graemlins/truck.gif

I dident realize you had one of those, I think there REALLY COOL though do they cost anymore then a regular 700R4 from TCI?

I bought it from my boss he paid 1500 dollors for it and another 600 putting full manual and trans brake in it plus 400 for the converter I traded my Scout for it he was going put it in a 55 chev p/u but he sold the truck It was a 2-whhel drive tranny so I swapped tail shafts and put a 208 behind it (bad Idea Been Through 2 cases since I got my 37s) I love it it shifts Extremley Hard barks the tires going into Third gear chirps going into overdrive /forums/images/graemlins/truck.gif

It's a 400 block with 350 crank bored .030 forged pistons comes out to 377cid steel crank roller tip rockers vortec heads edelbrock rpm airgap 750 edelbrock carb MSD ignition crane energizer cam It pulls to about 7200RPM I have reved it to 8300 RPM when the drive line failed (now I have a rev limiter set at 7400) /forums/images/graemlins/truck.gif
