Memphis Audio

I've owned and listened to many different brands of car audio equipment and so far I like JL Audio the best. I have never listened to any Memphis Audio. Does anyone know if this stuff is any good? Better than JL Audio?

Can't say if one is "Better" then the other, but I can say Memphis has some nice amps.

Ok, it sounds like they are in the same league as far as quality. I'm just lookin' for something different, everyone around here has either JL or Rockford.

I just put Memphis speakers in my 2002 Silverado. I don't know the model numbers off hand, but they are 6 1/2 up front and 4x10 in the rear. I believe they are they reference power model. They sound amazing! I can turn them up as loud as I want and the clarity never diminishes. The tweater is adjustable so I can get the imaging right. I couldn't be happier with them!

Cool, thanks for the opinion. I think mt next system will be Memphis.

I run a Memphis M-Class system... 2x4" Highs in the middle of the dash, aimed at the pillars for best sound clarity, 2x6.5 Mids in the Kickpanels & 2x 6x9's in the side panels behind the front seats. They sound amazing and well worht the extra money. They have a Kevlar cone and sound very clean at high levels.

Here is what the 6x9's look like:
