had about a dozen people ask me to do this video so I threw it together while on vacation last week. Kinda surprised as I thought this was one of the more popular mods when going soft top as it saves weight etc etc.
An added benefit is the truck tailgate is a lot thinner than the K5 so I was able to carry a 38 x 14.5 x 17 spare with no rubbing with Kert's bumper.
Also got a video up on the rubicon trip I did for Jeepers Jamboree. No K5 with that unfortunately but next year I plan on taking my truck whether they like it or not.
