I just finished a training seminar in Las Vegas and am now a Metabo warranty and service guy!!

BTW, get ready for some really nice tools to arrive in the US in about 6 months or so. We were the first people in the US to see them.

Seeing how well designed and built these tools are really sheds a lot off light on the price they demand.

Yeah, that one Kert posted looks like the head will sneak into places that other grinders just flat won't fit into, so you save time AND on doctor and chiropractor visits from contorting your wrist and back all the time :D

The flat head grinder it's very nice but there it's no brake or auto balancer in it due to size constraints. After seeing/using the auto balancer I'll never buy another grinder without one.

They have a straight version but not an angle that I know of. I have the most current catalog so I'll double check today.

I was wrong. They do have an angle version in the INOX line.

New version in cordless. Looking at the pics I may be able to get the parts to adapt the long reach section to their other grinders. I'll have to check the schematics and perhaps an email to Germany to verify compatibility.

We are moving forward with becoming a dealer. Once we get some stuff in inventory I'll post up.
If we can get decent pricing I'll go the CK5 vendor route.

I've got a metabo 4.5" and love it. Best money I've spent on a grinder thus far. I want another one now so I don't have to take breaks switching between grinding and sanding discs.
