I've gotten back into radios after being out of it for about 12 years, and I've been shopping around for a watt/modulation/SWR meter.
My questions is, Are the DOSY or Paradynamics meters really any good for measuring modulation percentage? A radio technician would measure this on an ocilliscope I believe.

I have the Astatic AST-600 and I'd say they're pretty dead on. Clicky for new meters on Ebay

Thanks, I was looking at that same model at copper electronics. So, if I wanted to check or set my Modulation percentage I could use this instead of a scope?
