I'm adding a couple leafs to my saggy rear spring pack on my 90' sub. I was suprised that the center bolts were metric. 3/8 are a little loose and 7/16 are too big. Anybody know where I can find longer ones? All of the local parts houses say they can't get such a thing.

You can use a metric socket head cap screw. I believe the correct size for your burb is 3/8in though.

a metric socket head bolt would most likely be a really soft steel. I bought this truck completely stock and it had metric bolts in it. 3/8 fit pretty loose in there, but I'm gonna run them for a while I guess.

You can use an allen bolt, they are grade 8 and work perfect. I highly doubt it is metric. It should be a 3/8" bolt and there should be some play in the hole otherwise you'll fight getting a bolt through the spring pack.

I use them all the time at work. Most are high strength; 150 - 180ksi.

It has 10.9 stamped in the head, you tell me if its metric. There is a little too much play for a 3/8 bolt like I said before.

Well with the 10.9 stamping that is a metric bolt but i still don't think that it's factory. Regardless of factory or not you need whatever bolt fits the best. Like i said, Allen bolts work very well for this purpose.
