Anybody happen to know the thread size of the pressurized side of a metric steering system? I'm guessing 16x1.5mm, but want to be certain before I order parts to make up my hose.

Thanks,

I have a 2002 GM truck PS pump and a 2002 Hydroboost unit, they both take 16mmx1.5mm o-ring style fittings. My gear box is old school with 11/16"-18 and 5/8 "-18 inverted flare so I dunno what a new style gear has. I had fun with making my own PS hose and picking the proper PS hose fittings too. I just ordered several different fittings from Summit and sent what I didn't need back. I normally don't like to plan to send things back, but in the case of plumbing jobs.... it's almost necessary.
