The very first vintage off road race is set to be run next week from Mexicali to La Paz. A chance to rewrite the Blazer versus Bronco battle. We're going and we'll keep you posted. We're going to kick some EB rear.

They postponed the race because of the hurricane. Looks like they are going to try to run it in the Spring. I'll be there for sure.

New race dates
April 28-May 2 is the rescheduled date for the race. We will do one race in Barstow or Lucerne to test and then the race. Start saving your gas money. For those that can't disappear for the whole time, look at doing the leg down to Bay of LA, the end of the first day's racing.

I get back from Iraq about that time, you going to need any help in the pits? It sure would make my weekend and I have to run out there to pick up my blazer anyways I would be able to kill a couple stones with some birds

Keep in mind that it is one day of prerace stuff in Mexicali, then three days of racing. That will put you a 1000 miles away from the border when you're done. It is normally two days of hard driving to get back, although I have made it in 18 hrs.
