mid 80's factory console...preferably gray

Anybody have a factory mid 80's console for a K5 or Sub? Must have the lock...key is optional and in overall good condition. I know it will probably have some cracks on the rear by the hinge...but that's normal...pics would be nice.

What ya got?
 
I'm all over it..does the lock still work..I want to get it re-keyed to my lock....
 
Well I have some pics uploading right now,but it's seen better day's. The lock is missing the actual "locking mechanism" but the part you stick the key in is still there. It's grey,but I mounted a cb on the front so there will be a couple of holes in it. Let me know if you still want it.

So there isn't anyway to lock it using a factory key....and does it still latch?

You would have to replace the lock. It doesn't latch.
 
Dang and those are a PIA to get out...I just replaced one and put it in my glovebox....
 
Would you happen to know where to get a replacement lock? If not I think I'm gonna have to pass since I need it to have that capability.

Sorry, my brother has "liberated" the console from my parts cache it now lives in his '79
 
I have a tan one, and I have the key, just not sure how it "locks" cause you can open it without the key. I'll take some pics when I get home from work.
 
I have a black one...got it from another member here awhile back. But I found one locally before the brown truck could deliver it. So its sitting under my bed, still in the box that it was shipped to me in..don't remember if it has a working lock/latch tho....as its been about 3 years since i have opened the box and looked at it
