(hopefully my threads about my happenings don't annoy anyone)

Well, It turns out I might get some wide tires yet. A friend of mine said she had a set of 35x12.50R15 Pro-comp somethings that she hadn't had on anything in a while. Supposedly they're in pretty good shape.

I know I might need to trim some, but what else would I need to do for them? should I do wheels with more offset? I've still got the factory steelies on there now. Also would they hurt my 10-bolts?

And, on an unrelated note, the Blazer is running a lot better, not terrific, but not bad. Plugged vacuum advance, timing backed off almost to pre-detonation, there's still some spark knock but it's harder to get to, only with putting it to the floor or a very steep hill.

How much trimming will depend on lift, tires should work fine on factory wheels, wider wheels or more offset will require more lift/trimming and I hurt 10 bolts all the time with 35s:D but mine was welded and I thrash on it pretty hard. Survival of your 10 bolts all depends on upgrades and wheeling style.

So to answer all your questions at once, it depends:D

Congrats on free tires though, free is mostly nice.

She had them on her V10 Dodge, (yes, she has 15 inch 8 lug wheels, your guess is as good as mine) And she had them on there until she got some 37's, and I mentioned I could have the old 35x12.50's, so I'm going to look at them tomorrow.

Now here's some numbers, as in the rear wheel wells measure 39 inches, and the front wheel wells are 37 1/2 inches, (correct me if I'm wrong, that was what I got) The 33's on there now measure 31 inches, and on full lock the there are 2 1/2 inches from spring to tire, on the front, and 2 inches on the back side. That's with the 33x9.50R15's on there now.
They are Dean SXT M/T's and they are some of the best tires as far as off-road goes, but on road they are terrible, noisy, they lean regardless of what the pressure is. Not to mention they are way too narrow to be on a fullsize, they look like pizza cutters.

Also, would the 10-bolts be fine with some light mud every now and again and some true trails every other week or so?
