Might have found a new rear axle. Help!

I'm kinda looking for a Dana 70hd. I've read that if I swap SRW 14bff hubs onto a Dana 70hd it makes it as wide as a DRW Dana 60 front. Then I can run h1 beadlocks without recentering them or adding wheel spacers. It's either that or I machine my front hubs and run normal wheels. Still not sure what I wanna do.

Anyway I found an 81 k30 dually on CL and all that's left is the bed and rear axle. Is there any way I could tell by looking at it, if it's a 70hd or a regular Dana 70?

If it's dually gm and has a d70 it's an HD.
Also on the housing it is stamped 70hd

and make sure its not a c&C 14ff as so many people say its a DANA axle and dont know sh!t

This is exactly what I'm doing with my 70hd. Simply because it's going to be less hassle than buying/machining hubs for the front and the stock h1's with tires are quite a bit cheaper than "normal" wheels. Also the h1's are bead locks.
