Mile Marker Electric Winch

The Mile Marker electric winches seem to cost less than Warn or Ramsey. Are they any good?? Warn would be nice but seem out of my price range. My 73 pickup is a tad under 5000 pounds. I was told go with a winch 1.5 times your vehicle weight. I am hoping to get a winch and bumper for $1000. Is this possible? What bumper should I look at??

I have one of the Milemarker E12000 winch's and my only comeplaint is they only give you 90Ft of cable! My Blazers weight is around 6000 and it pulls like it not even there. I also just made my own bumper out of 6" pipe and a couple pieces of angleiron. Total cost $700 , $600 of that for the winch good luck in your selections .
