I am thinking of buying a used one locally for the axles. I have not looked at it personally, a friend of mine at work has it. Does anyone know if the rear on these truck was an ff? Did they very at all? Also going from the truck to my 75 blazer what modifications will have to be? Will the spring perches be the same? Also wasn't the rear equipped with a locker and the front limited slip? Thanks.

Full float 14B rear w/ 4.56 gears & a detroit locker.

You will need to move perches & shock hangers to put it in a K5.

Front d60f in that model should be open.


Should be able to find everything you ever wanted to know about one of these with a little search.

Only the M1028's got the limited slip in the front.
