stumbled upon this lookin for parts for my conversion, seems like pretty decent pricing before shipping anyway. If youre lookin for a source for 16.5in tires, or military vehicles, might want to check it out.

Oh oh oh. Search for that ... IIRC one of our members had ALL kinds of bad juju buying a vehicle from them.

The prices seem a bit steep as well. $9500 for a m1008, i have bought 3 so far from govliquidation and paid less than $1400 each, for a few hundred more, you could make them look that clean and have less than 2000-2500 in them total.

yeah, the m1009 he had for 7k seemed quite high, but it only had 23k miles on it and seemed quite clean. bought mine for 1500, but easily put 4k into it to fix all the problems with it. so factoring in all the headache, and my family and friends giving me crap for buying such a POS, i only saved about 2500, and its still not as clean as that one looks, and has three times as many miles.

In any case, i was more stoked about the deals on the tires. 37x12.50-16.5 goodyear OZ's for 100 bucks apiece at 95% tread. a palate of 4 with 70% tread, $300. and a palate of 4 with 50% tread $250. Seeing as i just want to put tires on the thing for cheap, id probably go with the 70% tread and save $100 bucks.

But if the place is shady, and theres a history here of people being unsatisfied, by all means lets have a mod go ahead and delete this thread. I dont want to be putting out bad info.

oh wow, yeah, over at steel soldiers they were not very supportive... so ignore this thread, maybe if anything else someone will see it and learn thats a bad link???? mods choice, delete, or lock and let it disappear into the depths of the archives.

ill try and research places better before posting them up next time.

No prob. He does alot of selling on pirate4x4, and most of the people seem pretty happy with his service.
