im looking around for a new rig, i finally relized that my truck is not worth putting a new engine and tranny in, and a new cab and all that junk, my buddy was coming home from someplace and spotted a couple of military k30's, he sed they want from 1500$ to about 3500$ for them, is it worth buying one or are they to beat?

D60 in front, 14bff in back 4.56 gears.....Diesel.

also are all of them diesel or are there gas ones too, if not whats involved swapping a gas engine into it, id take it just a regular motor swap? /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif

Yep all of them are diesel. There are very few that were operated on gas. Not sure about the swap from diesel to gas. If your looking for one, check out this site. They tend to go on there at a reasonable price if you can find one close to you.
