does the m1028 cargo truck hav a front locker..? i know 456s nd d60...

IIRC the only cucv's that had a front locker were the ambulance versions(cant remember the "M" number)...but i believe it was a limited-slip, not a detroit locker like the rears....

thanks, thats what i thought. i friend said they do and i disagreed...i have a m1008 its open.. thanks.. another for you whats the going rate for a good m1008...?

if you buy from an individual then 2500 (about the going rate for an 80's model 1-ton 4x4) i would imagine...maybe a little less, or alot less if you find a deal....if you buy it from a government auction then prolly around 1200-ish, possibly alot less....but this is all extremely variable as some have VERY FEW miles and others have possibly been ragged on pretty hard....you never know.....ive heard of ppl getting them for a few hundred bucks, but some of us arnt as lucky....hope this helps

there ia a pic of mine in how would my truck/k5 with lift and tires....i thought of bidding on another and selling mine or even them both, mine has 74,000 on it and 4inch with 35s but the 3 i looked at are in real good shape but are rock stock, i wana buy one but dont wana be stuck with it or stuck with mine with it having a d44 and 4:10s..... i thought like 3000 for the ones with a d60 and 25 for mine i duno tho..what do u think...?

i would just buy the truck and swap the axles, then re-sell the truck. just be sure to tell the buyer that you swaped axles. if you can find one cheap enough you may make some $$ off the whole thing....good luck :D

None of the CUCV's have a locker in the front. Some of them have a limited slip though. M1028's and M1031's are usually the trucks you find them in (but not all of them).
