well man if you want to then go ahead and do your thing... this is all a misunderstanding that will never get heard. damn do you know how many times i said i was out of line and that i ****ed up?

Its real hard to do what you tell me to when i get insulted every five seconds. You wouldn't listen to em if you said you messed up and wanted to shake on it and get spit on every post.................

I show respect as i get it and sometimes ill show it when i don't get it but that was too much for nothin... other members have told 84 that he was being a dick. You guys want to get each others back so bad you don't read my post/s.
 
Just so you know, the last set of camel humps I had, I gave away to my friend who bolted them to his motor and promptly sold the vehicle that the engine was in.

They make better doorstops than cylinder heads.

You already have recieved the answer to your question. Replace your intake gaskets and install them correctly and you'll solve your problem most likely.

As to the $200 in my garage, that was me that said that, and I'll stand behind it. Machine work done by a shop across the country that you didn't check yourself before installing the engine is the same as me running a bottle brush hone down the hole and dropping in some new rings in my opinion.

would it smoke headers if you brush honed a block that came from 79. You know this but ill say it anyway... a block that came from 79 without being bored and just stuffing new crap in it would not smoke up the headers. My turn overs have been gettin easier because it is finally breaking in and smoothing out the cylinders. that is good enough for me. that shows its all good and i didn't get screwed. i can see how it looks like that on paper. the valve job would cost 200 bucks not to mention pistons, rings, manifold, etc.

any one have you would have gotten as pissed or more if you were me. I can understand that on the computer it sounds like everything i say is somehow connected to disrespecting alll you veterans of ck5 but its not even close to that. If you knew any of my friends they would tell you im laid back and cool with everyone and that if you piss me off you did something wrong. When i get disrespect repeadedly were gonna have problems.

Any running engine is going to burn the paint off the headers. One with overly retarded ignition timing or an overly lean fuel mixture or a combination of both will burn it off faster and even may glow the headers red....so the answer to your question is yes, it will.
