How many miles do you have on your K5s?

I'm at 144K with out a rebuilt. The more I work on this I'm thinking I should rebuilt the engine. The K5 has always had the oil change frequently 3-6K miles.

How many miles can I get out of these 350s?

they are not k5s, but my suburban has 153k on the original 350, burns quite a bit of oil but runs like a top. the k10 made it 130k on the original 305 before launching a rod through the pan.

1975 Blazer with 468,000. The second engine still runs, but is pretty much dead. (It was a piece of junk to start with.) The new one goes on the dyno late next week, and should last another 200K+. I figure at 1million miles, I will have to bronze the whole truck.

i have 98,000 on the 350 in my k5 . it knocks ( still cant figure out were its coming from) alittle but still starts and goes down the freeway at 65 , so i guess i will run it till it blows up

When I stopped keeping track my 350 had 300k++ :D

-Near zero maintenance.
-Has spent a lot of time with 0psi oil pressure (due to being on my side n what not with it running :D )
-Overheated it bad every trip out for over 2 years chasing and overheating problem (is 250+ hot  ? )
-The exhaust manifold gaskets have been on it since around 1993 :haha:

I guess its ok for a Chevy :haha:

Though I have been tempted by 6.0 and diesel swaps,I think Im just gonna run it til it dont run anymore :D
