millitary vehicle question

Ask the seller for the VIN and that should tell you if its a government issue truck or not.

That is not a true military tactical vehicle. It doesn't have the black out lights nor the slave receptacle on the front. As far as it not being or having ever made a 1 ton burb not too sure abou tthat one. Paint looks really close to actual CARC though.

Every military GM I have seen has single head lights. The ones that come on the utility versions.

You have to watch out when they say things like "military type". I think that means it's "like" a military vehicle. Just guessing....

I thought they were 3/4 ton but I don't remember. I was in the army over 20 years ago. Now the color on it is wrong. They were straight green, not camo in those years. There also should have been a number on the bumper so some stuff has been changed. You need to post and find someone from the 80s that was a 63Bravo. They would be able to tell you everything you wanted to know. :D :D

My guess would be that it is a civilian Sub with military axles under it. That does seem to look like a Dana 60 Front.

It is a homemade version. It has the window visors and an induction hood. He also said it had a 4 speed tranny. The CUCV's were auto (TH400, even humvees).

military vehicles......

I served proudly for this great country and never seen a military spec burban...i will say the leg room and cargo capacity would have been greatly appriciated though :D
