27.)ATTN MARINES AND COLLECTOR'S ! i have a large 17 1/2'' x 23 1/2'' framed vintage copy(late 40's early 50's vintage) of the flag raising at iwo jima. i have posted this before, so do a search of my name for exact details. but this is a one-of-a-kind item. this belonged to a veteran and i want it to go to a good home.i dont want to part with it, but need $$$$$$$$. intersting points of this picture is each individual is named on back of frame and their status(home place and k.i.a., w.i.a., etc) and is notorized by an officer. also included is a ww2 iwo jima u.s. postage stamp and a clipping of when iwo jima was turned over to the japanese, and also a clipping when the american indian from the group passed away. make no mistake, this picture is old and shows its age, but is a VERY NICE COLLECTORS PIECE. 100.00 or o.b.o.
