the thing says 1400 ftlbs of torque and i paid 200 for the tool 50 for a 5 amp hour battery

Has anyone used one? have a ridgid but its nowhere near that bet its 400 if that.

I love mine but 1400 sounds a little optimistic to me.

Edit: I have the 3/8 and 1/2 drive.

When I said 1400 sounds optimistic I was thinking of the 3/8.

The 1/2 skeers me when I use it to change my lawnmower blades. I think it might strip something out pretty quick.

Me and several other guys at work have them , usually don’t hear air tools much any more.

Use the 1/2 impact and the hex bit impact version every day at work. Beat the piss outa them. The Milwaukee stuff is pretty nice.

I bought one in 2013 and it's still going strong. I can't think of anything it hasn't been able to get free. I found a good price on a 9.0ah battery a while back and that makes it even better. It comes with me on every wheeling trip.

You gotta watch the Milwaukee site for when they do the free battery deals. That's the only way to purchase the tools. We have some of the 28 volt Milwaukee stuff at work. The sawzall in 28 volt is a beast.

I'm due for a new 3/8" and 1/2". Where do I look for the deals?

The 1/2” is kick ass....I never try to torque something with it though for fear of easily going to far and snapping a fastener.

I found a guy that sells new used and refurbished ones . The one I got was new in box.
