wanted to install the cam tonight, but i got no mineral spirits to clean the preservation comound off. what else can i use without doing harm to my motor at break in time?
gasonline is flamable so i dont want to do that. bad ju ju...

mineral spirits aka paint thinner....isnt that also flammable?

Varsol is fairly close, but following the direction is usually the best way.

mineral spirits is definitely flammable. hell you add toluene to gas for higher octane and they are similar, so if mineral spirits is ok, then i guess gas is too. or naptha. . . or whatever lighter fluid has in it. or ligher fluid.
