mini spool question

got stuck w/ a 14b SF
blah blah blah,
I was ignorant back then

so, is there any reason why this wont work for either of the 14 bolts????

you cant lock shafts together like that for regular street driving

I think the carriers are different between the 14SF and the 14FF.

carriers are way different. Nothing will swap between the 14 bolt SF and the FF. If you sink money into the SF that money is gone when you get a FF.

Why CAN'T you? I drove around for a month or two with a welded rear axle on my K5. If you learn to drive like a sane person and not jump on it after each corner or don't expect to be carving corners like a mad man there is absolutely nothing wrong. In fact driving with a welded rear taught me to calm my driving down, something I severly needed after losing my license. If I had a welder here my Burb would probably have a welded rear right now.

do you have any idea how much a drum cost for a SF!
