Just installed the new High Torque mini starter today. What a difference it make's to get rid of the Dreaded "Chevy hot start syndrome"! Now I can stop and grab a coke, or get gas, and not have to sit and listen to it, arrrh arrrh, arrrh, just turn the key and it's runnin. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Summit has them on sale now, Regularly, $146.50, on sale for $117.50 Well worth the investment. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif Will crank over a 502 with up to 18:1 compression. /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif

I've got one too - love it. How about that ripping geardrive type whine when it starts... assuming you get to hear it at all. Seems my truck starts on half a revolution with it!

Yes Sir, I hear that little whine when it start's! Only seem's like half a tick on the key, and it's running, COOL!

I Like! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
