Dead nuts straight tailgate that my neighbor found in the rafters during an estate sale. He's looking to sell. Since I'm bringing some other stuff to BB, I figured I put this up for sale if any last minute takers are going to BB.

In stupid nice shape. Check out the pics. Someone, at some point, painted the darker blue and left the light blue strip. Zero rust, zero body work. One year only trim in great shape. He's asking $300, which is already down from his previous $500.

I had to go back and look, this picture scared me a little.
It's just the ears, the very very end of the sheet metal. Didn't notice it till now. Here is a better picture of that area, untouched. Could probably bend it back with really strong fingers lol. Or leave it and you'd never ever see it.

few years ago I picked up 2 almost mint 80's tail gates with trim panels and were in a barn . guy pulled them from his plow trucks to see better .

paid 75 bucks each .. .....

this one is clean tho . . would look killer on my 77k30

F*** I wish I could find a 67-72 this clean. I had some guy advertise a mega straight clean one for 300 the other day. I asked for more pictures and wouldn't ya know, it's no better than my "slightly straight" one.

The problem Rob is all the smart folks out there that would rather buy a "slightly bent" tailgate for $200 and then spend however much money later to straighten it. Congrats, you have a $500 tailgate that's been straightened. Or like myself, where I bought a Chinese POS gate instead of a factory gate. I should have just fixed my first one instead of selling it.

LMC Chinese crap sells for $275. I can't even recall if that's with molding or even hinges, which I have.
Or you can get a clean OE one for $300

I get the same guy asking me if I'm ready to sell it for $200. Each time it's on CList. Apparently he hasn't found a better one or is trying to flip it for more money. I only saw 2 square body trucks all last week. One a Pismo, and one while driving somewhere between Bakersfield and home.
