Mirror (doors) position on '75

[Ressurection]

Can anyone give me any measurements on how far down from the top edge of the metal on the door, and how far back from the front edge mirrors should be? These are not the 'western' or 'truck' style 3 point; these are the smaller 'car' style mirrors (see LMC catalog).

Mirrors

Mine are 65/8" back from front edge of door and 1" down from top edge of door. Let me know if this helps, could get pic.

My old 75 2wd that I had, had that same style but were round.

car style mirrors

Those little mirrors can't be as convenient to see with or nearly as safe, but I guess youre trying to keep that orginal retro styling. New bigger mirrors are cheap, used ones are dirt cheap.
