ok,
I can't see a damn thing out this original mirror. I would like to have the convex glass for the passenger side, but my mirrors stay adjusted really well (except slamming the doors) so I don't want to chance buying junk aftermarket mirrors.

Anyway, I bought this piece of glass from Pepboys that is cut to shape and convex. They supply me with double sided tape. Well, because it's convexed, it doesn't sit flat on the old glass, only the sides touch.

I'm wondering what the brotherhood would use to glue them together. I might fill in the gap with some clear silicon as cleanly as possible. I could also controllably break the ends of glass on the original, then the centers will touch, but that leaves me with a broken mirror. arg

Ive done that before but the mirror was glued or whatever to plastic that was flat so it stuck to my mirror with the tape.

Gorrilla glue is some nasty stuff, it will glue justabout anything I think. Gotta be careful though because it foams up as it dries and may ooz out the sides.
