What do you guys do for mirrors when you take your doors off? I'm looking forward to getting the wiring and door pins in place to be able to remove the doors come summer. Have any of you come up with any novel ideas for temporary mirrors or know of good clamp-on's?

If i was going to remove my doors and go wheeling, I'd mount the mirrors on the fenders, and leave them there, even after I remounted the doors.

I went down to the local junkyard and found mirrors off an old caprice classic. They mount on top the the door and have 2 studs that come down off the mirror. When i took the blazer doors off I would pull the pin which left the 2 holes in the hindge half that is bolted to the body. That is where I woul bolt the mirrors to on each side. Worked great.

i went to schucks and picked up some low rider mirrors that clamp onto the drip rail over the door. all it takes is a screw driver to install them. when i put the doors back on i just take them off. cost me like 20 bucks.

Once you put them out on the fenders you wonder how you could ever drive with them on the door.

Thanks for the help guys. I like the ideas from the link'd thread (thanks BranndonC) where the mirror goes in the absent door pin. Not quite sold on the idea of moving the mirrors to the fender, but it's not out of the question. I'll have to look at it some more.

I'll try to be more diligent with the search function.
Usually that's where I start. First time offense is a light penalty right?
