i was just under my truck today checking things over, and i noticed a missing bracket. its on the passenger side rear. the one closest to the shock mount. the bushing is bolted to the body, but there is no bracket coming off the frame. there are holes there for one. is this common or some crazy factory mistake?

Dont know what happened to yours, but you might check the GM dealer I ordered some new ones there 2 years ago. IIRC they were about $17 each.
Yeah dont know if they still have them but 2 years ago they did, even surprised the parts counter guy.
