MOO has been dead for several years now.

Check the vendor forum here, there are a few places selling similar products.

SUCKED ASS!!! Glad their dead and gone. Products were sh*tty. I know, I wasted lots of my money with them.

I had good luck with MOO but I bought early on. I have their engine crossmember and it is really solid and the welds looked like they were done by a robotic welding machine. He also made me some custom bolt on rear shock mounts that were great. Maybe he bit off more than he could chew. Another company that I bought lots of stuff from was 4x4 Iron, RIP for them too.

what products where bad? i have his rear inboard shock mounts and havnt had a problem with them yet and had them for years

My cross member's fit was horrible to the frame. Had to slot the hell out of the holes. Had to use big C clamps to suck the frame to the crossmember. The 14FF truss did not fit period. I had to cut the pinion mount off and even with it cut off only ONE of the three bolts would go in. I made a new mount plate and welded it back on. I paid 270 bucks for that POS! The 14FF cover did not fit. Would not accept all 14 bolts. Misaligned holes. The bolts are of course 3/8 bolts. The holes were drilled to the next fraction size of 7/16 or .4375. Thats a HUGE oversized hole, atleast by my standards. I had to drill ALL holes out to .453 or 29/64 to get all the bolts in.

The crossmember is still in my truck, but it's coming out. Going with a Twisted engineering unit. I sold the 14FF cover to another member. It was fine once I opened up the holes. I GAVE AWAY the 14FF truss. Of course everything fit after I modified it. The one good thing that came from the crappy experience was I have my own idea of a truss/over the drive shaft anti axle wrap idea. It's damn near what Kurt from DIY came up with. He beat me to the punch but mine is still slightly different. Kurts is awesome, but I like my design better.

I asked Kurt if he would be willing to make the changes to his design to my liking and to my design, he said sure and really liked my ideas. Still need to start that project someday. The 14FF cover would have worked just fine too, but I bought a Crane 14FF cover later on. Had to mod that too from defects :surepal:. It's good now too. From my mods, and telling Crane what I did, and what they SHOULD DO, They changeg the way they manufactured their covers. When I got the Crane cover I took it to work and measured the out of flatness it had on the mating surface to the axle. It was not flat at all. Had to disc grind close to .060 off to get it precision flat. The counter bores for the bolt heads were still as cast finish. Not machined counter bores after casting.

I measured all 14 counter bores and they ranged from .010 to .035 out of flat just in their own diameter area!!!:eek1: Do you know what kind of side load at torque that puts on a bolt?!?!, thats what snaps bolts off under pressure is side loading the heads like that. Not to mention if you hit a rock with the cover while wheelin and it shifted the bolts could come loose from only one point of contact under the bolt head. Not the whole load bearing area of the contact surface. I explained all this to them. After that at the next OFF ROAD EXPO all their covers were disc ground flat AND their C bores were machined after casting. I told the rep about what I had did and that IMHO I took credit for the improovements to their covers. He actually thanked me for finding a way to improove their covers. Gave me a free T shirt, hat and stickers.

The MOO crossmember just hangs too low. It's an.....ok design, very basic crossmember. The Twisten engineering is a MUCH nicer design with a track bar built in if you want it. Cleaner looking member too. and much more heavy duty.

Sounds like you have been the recipient of some lemons. My MOO crossmember for the front fit perfectly and went in very easy with all the holes lining up just right. I have Crane High Clearance diff covers on my Corp14ff and my D60 and both fit flush with no leaks at all. Probably the only thing I found irritating is that the bolts rusted a bit.
