I wanted to bring this up because I witnessed breaks on both trails I ran and had to run into Grand Junction to get a very common steering gear box for Mike's Bronco. Moab has several small parts stores but no real salvage yard. Mike and I found a small start up salvage business about 5 miles South of Moab on the West side of the highway. His name is David Ivan Hawks but he goes by Ivan. He had to open his business outside of the city/county limits because the folks inside Moab don't want a junkyard in their midst. Although he is relatively new he will be expanding and seems to be a great guy.

There is also a NAPA, Clark's, Checkers, Carquest in Moab proper.

the guy that I assume owns the Clarks store was very helpfull, he was more than willing to make sure that we got what we needed to fix our fuel pump issue and be able to enjoy our time in Moab.

I recomend that store to any one as it is a small privately owned store that now has a Checkers next door.
