modified and painted my grille what ya think?

My grille on my 81 was looking a lil rough around the edges,so I decided to play with the stock one for a lil while while waiting on my new billet grille to get here. I cut the braces out of each section so it gives it a lil different look and also made it easier to prep for paint .Then I painted the grille black and the inside of the bowtie blue to match the truck and break up all of that black.I also painted the headlight bezels and removed the bumper guards .I still have to pick up 2 more bumper bolts ,they only had 2 in stock at advance.Heres a before and after pic.

I got to buff the bumper out where the guards used ,damn pollen already starting to get all over the truck .I just washed it yesterday.

be surprised what a lil playin around with some paint can do for a rig,

on the 81 i painted two wide red stripes straight down the hood

looks great

im gonna do it to the 77, but with black or gray(or both, hmm) paint since its beige and copper/tan two tone
