Hey Guys,

So, after making some custom seat brackets for my truck, and being aggravated with the chevy truck floorpans, I decided to design some bolt-in seat brackets for my buddies truck.

After making them, I stared at what could be a business opportunity!

Do you think there is a market for these?:

They bolt directly to the original seat-bolt holes, and you can specify the height, and the type of seat (so I know the rail width) when you order them. No fabrication, no drilling, no welding, no cutting. Nothing. Bolt and ride.

I have the production capability all lined up, but want to know if you think this is something guys would want?

Based on my costing, the price would be around $199.00 Canadian + shipping... so that's like $175.00 US for the bolt-in brackets that would come ready to bolt to your seat and at just the height you specify.

What do you think? Is there a demand for this?

I would say so and theres huge opportunity in offering it for more than just our trucks.

Theres lots of guys all over who are into the whole bolt in no fab/tearing down thing. I know I never put seats in my camaro because I just didnt have the skill to whip up brackets back then.

I mean $200 nothing when your dropping $1000-$3000 on seats like people do.

If I wasn't already in the process of making brackets for civic seats I picked up I would already be handing you money lol. Just make sure you take the steps and become a vendor on here before selling here. That way their is no issues. Great idea though!

Yeah, I know that seat brackets are a HUGE thorn in the side of anyone trying to customize anything. I'm just one guy with an idea and a fabrication company that will make pretty much anything to my specs.

I'm thinking I will start with Chevy trucks, suburbans and K5s and grow it from there. I'm just trying to get a feel for if this is something guys will drop cash on as I know not everyone has a massive budget but seats are SO important to the fit and finish of any project.

Thanks for the input!
