Guys

Any opinions on the available MOLLE seats covers? Looking for a set for my 91 K5 stock high back buckets.

The smittybuilt ones like many of their products get very mixed reviews.

Thanks!

those coverkings are nice, but they sure are proud of them...$300 a set

You can do better, shop around. I ordered a set and I believe they were under $200 delivered.

hows that Bell Helmet ad go?....If you got a $10 head buy a $10 helmet..I guess the same holds true for ass

I have a set of the neoprene Cover Kings on my Nismo Frontier and their quality and fit is excellent. They're pricey but by far the best seat covers I've ever had and you can find different websites that run specials on them. I'm looking at getting a set of those ballistic ones you linked to for my K5 as soon as I finish about a hundred other things on my to do list...

do they stay put, or want to move around on the seat when you get in/out

I’ve had them in my truck for almost three years now and they haven’t budged. My Nismo has a 3” lift and sees a fair bit of rubbing from my wife and I sliding out of the drivers seats and so far there’s no signs of wear and they’re in the same exact spot as when they were first installed. The ones I got had separate pieces for the seat back, seat pan, and head rests for each seat and used a combination of velcro and elastic straps to keep them securely in place. They were a very snug fit that took some patience on the install since they also have precise cut outs for all of the levers and knobs that my truck had. I don’t think much of that would be a concern with our older seats though. Really my only complaint about them is that the red portion of the neoprene has faded to a pink color on the front seats where the windows aren’t tinted but that has a lot more to do with me trying to be fancy and choosing the two-tone neoprene covers instead of the more rugged solid color cordura ones with the molle straps that I was originally looking at.
